Happy June! I am in disbelief over month six of the year already being here. It’s possible I say this annually.

June’s photo comes from the always lovely Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona. This little hummingbird was kind enough to perch on a tiny branch long enough for the afternoon light to illuminate all the pretty pink and purple colors on its head and neck, before fluttering off.

Saguaro National Park has two districts, on the east and west of the city. I usually have better luck seeing hummingbirds during visits to the eastern park.
