July and sunflower season are upon us! I hope your summer is off to a beautiful and not too hot start.
This is also my birthday month, which means a visit to the sunflower fields in my hometown may be on the calendar in a week or two. This photo comes from the main field, captured on an early July morning.
I never tire of walking around the wooded bend, from the parking lot to a golden glowing field of flowers towering well above my head. These sunflower fields have been one of my favorite spots for many, many years.
