Happy December to you! Are you ready for all that comes with the holiday season and another year ending? Seems wild 2023 is nearly over. A sentiment I feel each December.
This month’s wallpaper photo comes from Assateague Island National Seashore in Virginia. I remember initially being surprised to see the ponies so casually enjoying the snow. A few even playing together as flurries fell. But of course, they were out and about. Wild ponies are wild. Where else would they have been?
As you can imagine, no one else was at the beach in the snow. I was able to quietly walk around, taking in the views and fun pony sightings. Have yet to see one on the actual beach. Maybe one day!

My 2024 calendar is available in the shop! The cover photo was captured in Bryce Canyon National Park while hiking into the stunning amphitheater of hoodoos. Photos in the calendar feature various national parks, national forests, and Navajo tribal parks across the U.S.
